NOTIFICATION OF INDUSTRY RATE CHANGES FOR AUGUST 2007

With effect from the 1st August 2007the following rate changes will be coming into effect:

From the 1st to 10th August:

BAF charges will increase from $307.00 to $312.00 per 20ft and from $614.00 to $624.00 per 40ft container.

BAF for LCL traffic will be charged at $15.60 per weight/measure.

From 11th August:

BAF charges will increase from $312.00 to $317.00 per 20ft and from $624.00 to $634.00 per 40ft container.

BAF for LCL traffic will be charged at $15.85 per weight/measure.

CAF charges will decrease from 10.6% to 10.3% of the total freight value and will remain the same throughout August.

In addition to the above rate changes the following Peak Season Surcharge will be applicable in August:

20’       USD135.00

40’       USD270.00

40’HQ USD270.00

These new charges will be applicable for all sailings from August 1st onwards.
