INDUSTRY RATE CHANGES FOR MAY 2008

With effect from 1st May 2008 the following rate changes will be coming into effect:

BAF charges will be increasing from $456.00 to $509.00 plus $8.00 low sulphur fuel surcharge per 20ft container and from $912.00 to $1018.00 plus $16.00 low sulphur fuel surcharge per 40ft container.

BAF for LCL will increase from $22.80 to $25.45 per weight/measure plus $0.40 low sulphur fuel surcharge.

CAF charges will increase from 15% to 17.7% of the total freight total.

These charges will be applicable for all sailings from May 1st onwards.
